Step 2 - Configure the Screensaver Animations

In this step, we configure how the Screensaver actually works.

Available animations

This is the list of screensaver animations that can be added to your screensaver.

Selected animations

This list shows the animations that will be used in your screensaver. If there are several animations selected, then one will be randomly selected every so often. The time taken to select a different animation can be altered when you click the General Settings button.

Settings

This button will show the configuration options for the currently selected animation.

Preview

To display the currently selected screensaver, click on the Preview button.

General Settings

This button displays the . This is where you can set the time between each animation changes, as well as specify if the screensaver will ignore key presses, mouse clicks, or mouse movement.

Prevent changes to the options

If you do not want the user to be able to alter these settings in the Control Panel applet, then select Prevent changes to the options. With this set, only the About window will be shown when the user tries to configure the screensaver.
