Step 4 - Read to Create
All of the options have been gathered and your screensaver is ready.
Save as
Enter the file you would like to save the screensaver as.Create an Installer for the Screensaver
This creates a self-extracting installer for your screensaver. This is very useful if you intend to distribute your screensaver.Click Options, and the following settings can be configured:
- Include an uninstaller
- This allows the end user to uninstall your screensaver, the same way most other software is uninstalled.
- Install in System32 folder

This option makes the installer try to install to the user's system folder, usually
C:\Windows\System32. While this is the proper location to install screensavers, please be aware that some users may not have enough access to write files there. If this option is not selected, then the installer will create a folder in the user's Program files location,C:\Program Files. - Add to Start Menu
- Check this option to add a submenu to the user's start menu. You can also add a link to the website, specified in Step 3.
